Quick show of hands....How many with a split stay were able to book dining....

I was able to- and I was SHOCKED. Because our split stay involves paying cash for AP rate for 2 nights at POR, and then using DVC for the rest of our stay at OKW.

We DID tell both DVC and the reservationist when we made the POR reservation what we were doing- maybe they linked our POR reservation to OKW? I have no idea, but I was THRILLED that I got to make all my reservations at the same time. Phew! Esp because I have to get up at 2:45 AM to hit the 6:00AM EST window online....so happy I only had to do that one time!

not me! i had to do it over 2 days. BUT i got everything i wanted and the times! good luck:yay:

I was - I have 2 DVC reservations, one for Boardwalk and the second for Animal Kingdom. I was able to book ADRs for the entire stay when my first window opened.

Add me to the list of everyone who was able to book all at once. We are staying 1 night at BWV on cash and then 5 nights on points in December and all I needed was the confirmation no. for the one night on cash. It opened up +10 without issue and I was able to get everything I wanted (and that was a lot considering we are going deluxe) :woohoo:

Happy planning!! :santa:

We have a total of 5 reservations (we're staying at multiple resorts to try them all out). The first reservation is for one night, followed by 5 nights, 2 nights, 5 nights and 1 night. I was able to make ADRs for our first 10 days (which includes 4 reservations) at my 90-day mark. I did have to log on for the next few days to finish up our 14 days worth of ADRs but my 10-day booking window did open with that first, one-night stay.

Put me in "no we couldn't" category. We did a split stay in June and could only do the 90+ for our first resort stay, we had to wait and do another 90+ when the second started.

We could. We called to see if DVC would link our stays and they said they wouldn't and that we'd have to book our ADRs on two seperate occasions. Well, we were able to go on-line at 90+10 and get everything for the entire 9 nights - no problem. Why the inconsistancy, I don't know.

Also, it looks like on-line bookings are available starting as early as 3 am EDT.

We had to book our split vacation on two seperate ressies, pirate: CM tried to link them, but wasn't successful. We were able to get most of our reservations @ the 90 day mark. Good Luck!:cheer2:

It sounds like most of the success was online vs phone. Is that accurate?

I have a split stay with my first 90+10 kicking in on the day BEFORE they change over to 180 days. If I can avoid calling in with the rest of civilization on 10/27 I'd be thrilled.

Thanks,
Heather

Yes the online system will let you book when your first date opens + 10 days, if you need a reservation for something that requires a phone call you may or maynot get that until your next window opens, I had no luck when I called was told to call back once my 2nd date opened (I wanted the fireworks cruise during my 2nd reservation) but again this depends on the CM you get I called several times and was told "you have to call back" each time.

I am among those who could NOT get 90+10 online. I tried and tried and couldn't. Very frustrating when others were able to!

I was able to book all but one with my first reservation but only via telephone!
