OK, just booked with the quick service dining, usually do regular dining, but decided to save a little money! So any suggestions on where to get the best "bang for your buck" on quick meals :) Where is your fav. place to grab a counter meal?? Thanks!

Wolfgang Puck Express in the Downtown Disney Markeplace
Food Court Port Orleans Riverside
The Pepper Market at Carribean Beach

Those are just a few that come to mind.

We also LOVE Wolfgang Puck Express and it is a GREAT bang for your QS buck.
Earl of Sandwich is also decent.
At the parks, we like the following:
MK - Cosmic Rays (surprisingly great ribs)
Columbia Harbor House

EP - Mexico Pavillion
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
DHS - haven't found a good QS here yet

I think it is great that you are trying the QS meal plan. I think that you can find a good selection and don't have to spend your entire vaca eating chicken nuggets, French fries and burgers.

I agree with the Wolfgang Express. You get very large portions and the food is excellent. I eat there every time I go now.

The Pepper Market is at Coronado Springs Resort, but it is a great value especially since they have it as a QS buffet for breakfast and lunch right now (subject to change at any time, though).

Other than the ones already mentioned, the best bang for your buck will be any of the combo rib/chicken meals at Cosmic Rays, Flametree, and Fairfax Fare. Tangeriene Cafe and La Cantina in Epcot World Showcase also have some higher priced meals. Sunshine Seasons in Future World has good size meals and great desserts.

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons & Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary & Backlot Express.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Boardwalk Inn/Boardwalk Villas: Boardwalk Bakery.

I have heard Starring Rolls at DHS is good. the black forest ahm sandwich along with one of their wonderful cupcakes (butterfinger).

as far as earl of sandwich, that is more a better buy for out of pocket, than a good "bang for the buck" for a CS credit.

we love flametree (even tho you get less and less each year, I remember when you got the ribs, coleslaw, baked beans AND a mini corn on the cob.. sigh). but the best thing here is .. keep walking..
do NOT sit at the first or 2nd set of tables... keep walking.. down towards the ponds.. you will be amazed at the number of hidden tables.. away from the crowds.

I wouldn't waste a CS credit on pizza.. unless.. when doing a split stay, on our last day of the DDP portion of the split stay, we got a large pizza for 2 CS credits, then had leftovers, which we put in ziplock bags in our fridge, to snack on on the 2nd leg of the split stay trip (the "room only reservaton).

ITA with the food court at POR, if it isn't a hassle to get there.. their dinners are great!

anyone try the quick service at Yak and yeti?
