Quick Service on Dining Plan

Hi...we are heading to WDW at the end of April. We are on the Regular Dining Plan, using our TS credits on Character meals and a dinner at BOG. My question is about QS credits... I have been glancing at menus here and there, just getting a feel about what is out there. I have read that you can substitute a side for a dessert... is that for sure true??? And, for your included drink, does it have to be the standard soda fountain/water/tea or can you get a tangerine lemonade, strawberry lemonade slush, orange juice, or chocolate milk (for example)?? These particular drinks have the snack credit symbol, but wasn't sure if it was allowed to have with the quick service meal. I know some of those drinks can come with the specialty cups/mugs and those would be out of the question, but it would be nice to try something other than the normal. It was just a question I was thinking about... Thanks for listening!

Can't say about recently, but we've gotten orange juice and chocolate milk in the past.

Just ask for whatever drink you want. Most of them are included, except for the ones you mentioned.

As for the substituting, it's not a SIDE, it's any item with the purple SNACK logo next to it, and yes, you can do it at any and every QS restaurant on property.

Hi,

We just got back today from WDW (sad face) and yes you can substitute your dessert on the QS for any 'side' with the DPP logo next to it (which is almost everything).

I was able to substitute my soda at Cosmic Ray's for the Strawberry Lemonade Slush (which was $3.99 vs the $2.99 for soda) as well. Doesn't have to be 'soda' off the menu.

Thanks thats good to know, we are not big dessert eaters, so being able to get a side would be great

if the drink is marked with a snack credit, you can get it
