Quick Service Meals

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

Cosmic Rays at MK. Fun place, lots of choices. And if you are on the dining plan, you can get the chicken and ribs as a choice!

Animal kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ fantastic chicken. When ex and i went in 2001, it was our favourite counter place meal of the trip, and the best value (one of the few things we ever agreed on ROFL)

as for Epcot, I imagine that the counter service area in the land would be the best? However, that said, I plan on making a stop at Mexico on our next trip. :O)

And for MGM I have only had food at 50's prime time cafe.

Cosmic Ray's, Cosmic Ray's, Cosmic Ray's!!!!

The chicken and ribs combo is great and the green beans and mashed potatoes are fantastic!!! We ate there every MK day. It has always been our favorite but tis time seemed exceptionally good!

More votes for Cosmic Rays at MK and Electric Umbrella at Epcot. Both were excellent meals (particularly for us on the dining plan), the chicken & ribs at Cosmic Rays is HUGE!!!, and both locations were very much enjoyed by our family.

If you're looking for counter service options outside the park, consider Wolfgang Puck Express in Downtown Disney.

When we were there last week, I had a huge dish of penne alfredo with chicken, a side ceasar salad, unlimited Diet Coke (gotta watch that waistline, ya know! :rotfl2: ) and creme brulee (how the heck do you spell that?? :confused3 ) for a counter service credit. Hubby and son had similar and our bill was like $80 for 3 people (though it was all covered under a counter service meal on the dining plan....a GREAT value!). PLUS they serve you at the table after you place your order, so its almost like having a table service meal. Food was sooooooo good.....especially the creme brulee!!!

POR's foodcourt also has a fantastic make-your-own pasta station, if you happen to be staying there.

El Pirata y el Perico is our favorite. Maybe that's because it is only open seasonally, so we can't always eat there. The tacos are as big as your head (I might exagerate, but that is the way I remember them!)

If you ever get the chance to try this, then you must jump on it. Not only are they open seasonally, but they close after lunch! pirate:

MK-Columbia Harbor House
DTD-Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Polynesian-Captain Cooks
Grand Floridian-Gasparillas

Pecos Bill's at MK is the spot for me. The Double Bacon Cheeseburger with sauteed mushrooms from the Fixins Bar is my favorite. I also like having the cheese sauce for my fries.

Yak & Yeti CS at AK for the fried rice. I like it.

Not sure about a favorite for EpCot or HS.

We like CHH and Pecos Bills in MK.
Last visit we were pleasantly surprised by the food at the ABC Commissary at DHS - the chicken curry was good.
We usually do Pizzafari in AK - the pizza is ok, Italian sandwich is good.
My absolute favorite CS in all of WDW is Tangerine Cafe in Epcot. I always get the wrap -either lamb or chicken- both are delicious. For the DDP meal, delicious baklava comes with it. I eat here at least once each trip - twice on our last trip!

Pecos Bills in MK - great burgers
Germany in Epcot - brautwurst/knockwurst very good and excellent dessert all included in DDP
Backlot Express in DHS
