If you look on allearsnet.com - and I think also on the DIS parent site- you'll find listings for allthe places that serve food with menus.
Soem of the places mentioned - like Yorkshire Fish and chips - really only serve fried fish with french fries (chips). If you love heavy fried food, go for it, but if you like something a little healthier- then it won't be for you. Incidentally, I have the smae problem with Yorshire fish in MK. The air is limited and ahd heavy with the smell of fried fish grease. To top it off - the restroom inside the place has only like one stall. If you go - use the restroom that's over by Peter Pan.
Second, menus change fairly frequently at WDW. There's one place in HS that changes it's menu about every year. I have to say though - since it's at teh back it's relatively quiet and most menus I've liked. I can never remember the name, but it's next to the 'Honey I Shrunk...Playground' and Backlot tour.
I also kind of like Pizza Planet in HS. The pizza is nothing so great, though it has improved recently - but the atmosphere is cute. It's supposed to be the Toy Story movie pizza place. If you sit outside you can see see the Muppet fountain courtyard.
For Epcot, I do like Sunshine season's variety and healthy options. Soups, salad, sandwiches, stir fry veggies. Plus rice crispie treats! Epcot also has some great choices in the WS. Among them, Yorkshire is our least favorite. Morocco is a bit exotic; you can get hummous, and taboule. If you are craving somethig green try taboule! = parsley, lemon juice, tomato, wheat, onion, mint. So good.
I also like Japan. The menu is very limited these days, and the dessert options are very limited if you are on
DDP, (I think a so-so ginger cake) but the yakitori chicken remains good (terriyaki chicken skewers served with rice). We also like the noodle soup (called Udon) For dessert you can get asnow cone at the snow cone stand.
France has crepes. I mean they are just crepes, but they are good. The bakery has some fun items for dessert.
The best bakery is Kringa La in Norway. They do serve minimal sandwiches, but I've never had them. Teh goodies are excellent. One of my faves is the berry tart. The fruit is fresh blue and raspberries, the tart shell is dipped in dark chocolate, and there's just a touch of vanilla creme in the middle. MMMMM!
Mexico's food is okay. It tastes okay, but the place has less variety than your local Taco Bell by far. And I don't even eat at Taco Bell. It does serve margaritas.
For AK, the choices are limited. The best two are gone.(chicken dumpling cart and Tusker House - it's now a very mediocre TS) I don't really like the BBQ. The new YAk and Yeti is okay. Pizzafari is okay. Between them I think I prefer Yak and Yeti. PIzzafari is colorful inside though so it has that going for it. You can get limited sandwiches there. The pizza is just okay.
In MK, I'llalways have a soft spot ofr Cosmic Rays. The singing RAy is cute. The food is basic AMerican fare: burgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, chicken- but the service is alwasy fast, youc a sit outside or in fairly open areas if you choose. And they have a fixings bar with sauteed mushrooms and sauteed onions. PEcos Bills is similat, but Pecos has the same ventilation problems as the fishouse. it always smells funky in there.
Behind PEcos Bills is a tiny taco place - across from PotC. It is only open seasonally and bascially ONLY has beef tacos and taco salads - but it's fixin's bar has tomato, salsa, cheese, lettuce. If you like that one choice, and it's open - it's pretty tasty. You can pretty easily have one person grab food ther and send aonther to PEcos Bills - at least you could before. I'm not sure under the new seating policy if you can do that. PB is subject to the new seating policy - unless they stopped the experiment. I don'tt hink it was very popular.
My new favorite though in MK is the chicken parm from the Friar's Nook. There are no tables there, so you have to alk across the way to sit.Youcan also combine with options from Pinnochio Haus (pizza/salad in it's more recent incarnation, limited other options- but this one also changes menus frequently).
Another good option for MK is to hop the monorial to one of the three resorts. It takes some time, but they are pretty quiet and if you take the boat, it's relaxing and the ride is quiet. If you've got young kids - it's a nice break for them. I think Poly's is just so-so, but the new one at CR has good food. A confusing system, but good food. Gf's also has some good food choices. At GF, take the food outside. Mind the gulls, but enjoy the castle view and quiet.
Also, don't rule out the other resort food courts. It's may not be worht the itme to go to mod other thanyour own, but many of the moderate and value resort food courts have some good options. Some are pretty homogenous - like chicken Ceaser salad and burgers and pizza - but eachone also has afew unique options: Pop has a different 'homestyle' meal each night - like fried chicken or meat loaf. CSR is a bit slow but has some great Mexican-American options like fajitas. Their pizza is good too.
