quick service dinning at the contemporary

I always stay at the Contemporary Towers. Love it but admit I should try another resort. The Contempo Cafe is there and sheesh do TPTB need to improve the food. The Wave on the other hand (TS) is great as well as THE CALIFORNIA GRILL. But the Quick Service is not awful but def not good.

We visited the Contemporary QS when we were staying at BLT, they did the usual burgers, salads and flatbreads etc., and a few other things and for a resort CS it was perfectly fine.

keep in mind that at the Contemporary, you have the option of hopping onto the monorail and having a quick ride over to the Poly to hit captain cook's (for pulled pork BBQ and aloha chips and dole whips at counterservice) among other things.

Personally I believe the Contempo Cafe is a great counter service location and a huge improvement over the Food & Fun Center, which I also enjoyed when it was open. My favorite item on their menu is the Chicken Ceasar with the dressing already on it, which tastes amazing. Besides that I also like their Cheese Flatbread Pizza. Finally on Saturday's their soup of the day is Corn Chowder which also tastes great. Anyway here is a link to their menu so you can see everything they have available.

We ate there our last trip(dinner) to try it and had the Pasta with chicken basil cream sauce and the Honey-Lime Chicken: served with pepper jack cheese on multigrain roll with salsa-ranch dressing and thought it was very good. Also, the cupcakes they have for dessert are also really yummy!!
