Ok I’ve got our dining reservations set up for our upcoming trip. Actually it’s working well to set my sloth family up to do more. Want to stay longer in the parks? Hey let’s have lunch at mythos I happen to have made a reservation for mid day. Want to see the parks in the evening? Hey I happen to have made a reservation in citywalk for a later (for us) dinner. Why how convenient we’re already here to go check out the light show! 😎 yeah my family isn’t going to buy it either but I’m trying.

Anyways, to my question. Having made sit down reservations we tend to do quick service for the opposite meal. So say we’re having lunch at Mythos then dinner that night might be fast food off property or nachos by the pool. On our day we’re having dinner in citywalk I don’t want to set us up for a sit down lunch. Will mobile ordering help? I’m hearing the lines are awful for QS food. Any tips or do I just say let’s go to Moes in citywalk and let this one go.

and finally for lunch cowfish or big fire? What’s your vote.

We only did QS once on our last trip (three broomsticks) because the line was so bad. Mobile order dnot lessen the line at QS. You mobile order your food but you have to eait in line for a table to open, sit down, and input your table number in the app before they even start to prepare your food.

I would definitely pick cowfish for lunch! Bigfire just has more of a dinner vibe to me.

If you want to eat QS in the park plan to eat early. Thanks to the Dis we knew the lines would be really long so we planned on eating about 11:15am. That worked. That put us leaving around noon and the line to get a table was very long.

With the parks starting to loosen some of the social distancing rules hopefully they will start bring the normal seating capacity back soon. You can’t place a mobile order until you get seated and have a table number.

They really need to bring in food trucks to help with the lunch crowds. But then you need to be “standing off to the side” by yourself to take your mask down and eat, so who knows?

I just saw on Tim Tracker that they're doing a "summer food festival" AKA food trucks scattered throughout the park so this may be in direct reaction to the QS lines. The food looked good too.
