We are headed to the World 2/14. We are doing the Quick Service Dining Plan for the first time. Where do you like to eat when you are at HS? I've got some ideas for the other parks:
MK: Cosmic Ray's
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
AK: Flametree BBQ

Any suggestions?

We don't usually eat at HS for quick service. I have heard that Starring Rolls is good, at least for breakfast and treats. We have tried Pizza Planet and the pizza was okay. We were starving and the kids were expecting the setting to be just like the restaurant in Toy Story. I think we were all a little disappointed.
Don't forget Columbia Harbour House at MK and the Lunching Pad is good for snacks. At Epcot, we like the Fish and Chips shop by the Rose and Crown Pub in England. I know that no one likes the food in America at the World Showcase, but we have found the burgers and BBQ to be pretty good. It doesn't hurt that we are drinking a Sam Adams with it!!!
Check out the Quick Service menus at the dis site and at Allears. You may find some options that really work for you.

Well, if you feel you could leave HS and go to a resort for lunch..... I would get quick service at the Pepper Market in Corando Springs! The food is amazing. You sit down a at table, and your actual waiter gives you a menu then a drink! When you chose what you like you write it down and then go to the counter for your food. I highly recommend the chicken sandwich Yummo!
When you are finished, you just go up to the desert counter, and you can either take it on the go back to HS, or go back to your table and eat it! Aswell, you write down what you had, plus your drink! Thanyou simply go to the counter, and its QS! And the food, just FILLS you up!

A funny story with my sister and I, we went there are bill was $60..... And it was still QS. That just shows how amazing the Disney Dining plans are!

HS has a reputation for the worst QS in the World.
We have eated at the Backlot Express and it was okay.

I'm not that crazy about the food at DHS either. If you are park hopping, I might take the walk between DHS and EPCOT and eat at one of the resorts along the way or in EPCOT. You can check out the menus on allear.net, but there's really not much to be desired in my opinion. The last time we ate there was at the ABC place, really not that great. We just ate there because our son in law likes MGM and we were kind of doing what they like since we were meeting them for a family visit in WDW and we go often.

WHich resort are you staying at? Most CS at resorts are pretty good especially the values.

The only place that would eat ever again in DHS is Pizza Planet...We have been to a few and hated them all...PP is only place we got something that we could stand eating...If you are the dining plan you get a nice salad with your pizza...Not bad at all.

We love Columbia Harbour House in the MK :lovestruc

You can always take a break from DHS and go Epcot.
The Sunshine Season in FW gets high marks. The bakery in France in WS has some options. I am a fan of the Fish & Chips at Yorkshire.
Another option is to head over to DTD . I can recommend the WPE in the DTD MP (not the West Side tho) and Cookes of Dublin.
Other people like the Earl of Sandwich, but I haven't eaten there.

Thanks for all the good ideas! We are not hopping, so Epcot is out, but I hadn't thought about doing quick service at a resort. I'll have to check out allears for menus because our 12 year-old is a picky eater!

How about going over to the Boardwalk for the pizza window (not on the dining plan) or the Bakery (is on the plan)...

Or to the Beach Club...Hurricane Hannahs has a limited menu on the plan and inside they have a small cafe in their gift shop...There are some nice sandwiches and things there...

Both the Beach Club and Boardwalk are a boat ride from for HS...Or a long walk if you are feeling up to it!

Magic Kingdom: Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Epcot: Electric Umbrella.

Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary.

Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree Barbecue & Pizzafari.

Downtown Disney Marketplace: Earl of Sandwich.

Contemporary: Contempo Cafe.

Grand Floridian: Gasparilla's Grill & Games.
