Quick Service Dining Plan - locations

The counter service credits are not redeemable at Cantina de San Angel or Tangerine Cafe. Two places we always eat at.

I know over the years Disney has added (and removed) places from the Dining Package.

Do you think they may ever add in the Mexico or Morocco counter service places?

If they do, it's worth us purchasing the Quick Service dining package, if they don't then we will probably stick to a room only booking and tickets from Undercover Tourist.

I believe they will be added eventually. As to whether the plan is still worth it...well, I guess it depends on how the plan is used by the guest(s).

I went to Cantina in June and plan on going this Sept., they are still on the Allears website as being included. Where did you hear they are no longer on the DDP? Or are we talking 2009 and the new CSDDP?

The OP is no doubt looking at the list for 2009.

Cantina de San Angel and Tangierine Cafe are not owned or run by Disney. That is why they are not on the 2009 list. Non-Disney-owned restaurants which participated in the past are generally added to each new year's list when their contracts are finalized.

Good to know you're talking about 2009 as we plan on eating at at least one of those this trip. We've done both on prior trips using DDP.

I wouldn't be surprised if they change their minds. In 2006 it was reported that Raglan Road wouldn't be taking DDP in 2007. They changed their minds and are still on the plan for 2008. I also know that the first time we used DDP, Jan. 05, very few Epcot locations were on the plan. It didn't take too long for them to be added on.
