DH and I will be spending a couple of days at DLParis in early October. Since we only have 2 days, we don't really want to spend any time doing sit down meals. We'll probably do breakfast at our hotel in Paris but plan to spend pretty much all day at the parks. Anyone have any recommendations for quick dining at either park for lunch and dinner?? THANKS!!!

We always like Caseys but normally make the trip to Disney village for an earl of sandwich. You can't beat their sandwiches.

Quick service is a bit of a myth at DLP, as a lot of the times, you have to queue to get your food and then queue to pick it up so it can take a good 30 minutes until you're actually sat down to eat!

I would definitely recommend popping out of the parks and going to Earl of Sandwich in the village.

In the parks themselves, I would recommend Cowboy Cookout (BBQ chicken and burgers), Fuente Del Oro (mexican), Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost (pizza and pasta) and Hakuna Matata (spicy chicken). Casey's is also good for a hot dog, but their service is extremely slow, we queued on a non-busy June day for 35 minutes!

You can view sample menus from all the resturants on DLRP Magic - http://www.dlrpmagic.com/planning/dining/restaurant-menus/

Enjoy your stay! :goodvibes

As others have said, Earl of Sandwich in the village is very popular.

In the park, I like Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost for atmosphere, but to be honest, you may get served quicker in one of the table service restaurants.

The buffets, e.g., Agrabah Cafe are great value for money :thumbsup2

Another recommendation for Earl of Sandwich. We don't normally have lunch as we are usually full from breakfast but ate here once and now have to eat here all the time. The sandwiches are lush

Thanks everyone for the responses. We love Earl of Sandwich and always visit on our trips to WDW! We even had one about 30 mins from us when we lived in Texas and would go there every once in awhile.

Can't believe it can take that long on "quick" service! Even on our trip to WDW last month when it was quite busy we usually had our food in about 10 mins. Maybe we'll try one of the buffets :-)

THANKS again :thumbsup2

We've never had to wait too long for quick service, however we do tend to visit during term times and also try and avoid peak eating times.

It's worth visiting City Hall each morning just to check which qs restaurants are open and at what times - saves being disappointed if you particularly fancied somewhere and trekking all over the park.

Also, the parks shouldn't be open too late in October so you could always have a sit down dinner in the village or one of the onsite hotels after you leave.

Id recommend Toad Hall for fab fish and chips in Fantasyland or definitely Blockbuster in WDS for croques but as far as I remember you can get them in Market House Deli on Main St too. Very yum ;) plus check your receipts cause you may get a second receipt that entitles you to a hot drink later in the day

That's an excellent tip, never thought of doing that before.

Walt Disney World sometimes has 20% off merchandise coupons on the bottom of quick service dining receipts. A free drink sounds great too!!! Thanks for the head's up :-)

No probs, its such a great little extra - hot choc to warm you on a chilly evening while waiting for Dreams to start, sounds ideal :)

i really like toad hall or the lucky nugget.

at the lucky nugget you are seated, the food is brought to you but its fast food, a bit dearer than normal counter service but a lot faster and unlimited drinks.

Ooh, i haven't been in there for years (i remember the good old days of the character lunch in there!). I didn't know about the unlimited drinks, that sounds very appealing! I hope it's open in October when I go! :thumbsup2
