Quick service as shakes as drinks

We've done the dining plan in the past and trying to calculate costs benefits again. If we had a table service credit at Beaches n Cream would that include a shake (as drink), entree and ANY dessert except the kitchen sink? I know several have questioned the shakes as a drink option. Not that we want a sugar rush, but thought it would be a good sharing option if I wanted dessert with my daughter.
