If onsite people are in the park at 7 and I don't get in until 8, what can I expect for wait times for the ride and Fastpass? Anyone have any idea? We are going this week. Thanks'

Well, about a week ago I would have told you: "If you get there early on Tuesday or Thursday you will be fine". But unfortunately (for my family) DLR changed their mind and opened up every day of the week to EE for on-site guests, so now Tuesday and Thursday are no longer exclusive APEE days.

I don't know what to expect now, except that it's going to be CRAZY in Carsland. Just be prepared to wait in a very long line for Carsland, everything else should be pretty manageable according to recent reports.

I too would love to hear some first hand news of what the wait times have been like for non-EE visitors to Carsland. Hopefully some will post soon.

The ride will more than likely already be 120 minutes by 8. The FP doesn't open until 8, but a lot of the EE people get in line during their EE time. You're likely to have to wait 45 minutes to get your fastpass, which will be for some time in the afternoon to evening--depending on how close to the front you can get. I really recommend just using the single rider line if you can. With all the breakdowns they're having, you'll stand in line for a FP for about 45 minutes then very likely have to wait in the FP return line for 45 minutes (or 60 minutes if it's in the evening) for a total of an hour and a half wait. With the single rider, you'll likely wait for less than an hour total.

You can get in at 7:30. Be one of the first in for rope drop and go to the Carthay Circle Theatre to line up for RSR FPs. If you are close to the front you can get a FP between 8:05 and 8:15. It will have a early return time for the morning when the FP return line is about a 20-30 minute wait.

I was there from July 8-13. On 2 different days we did this--

1--got to the gates by 715am
2-at 730 am they let us in, me and DD of us went to rope drop (we were about 10 deep from the back) and DH went to the FP line (near Carthay Circle)
3--at 8am they joined the FP line behind the rope to the FP line that was already formed by early entry guests
--also at 8am the rope dropped, me and DD went to ride Luigi's with a 13
min wait
4--DH met us at Luigi's--FP return time one day was 1040-1140, another day the return time was 1145-1245
5--All 3 rode Mator's with a 15 min wait
6--returned during the FP window--both times our waits were about 20 min

We did this on a Sunday and a Thursday which were APEE days for entering early---maybe now that hotel guests are allowed in every day early the better days to go would be the M-W F so that at least you'd exclude the AP crowds?

Yeah, I think the key is that you can get in the gates shortly after 7:30 and either A) go to the FP line or B) go to the rope drop area or C) split up and have one in FP and the rest in rope drop.

If you get in line at 7:30 you will have FP by 8:10 or so.

If you get in the rope drop group you will be at RSR at 8:10 or so and can either ride once in standby or hit single rider twice or so before the lines get too nutso.

Standby right at the very start will probably be 30-45 minute wait. By the time you get off the ride, it'll be 90 minutes.

Single rider will probably be 20 minutes or so, and then once you go through it, will be 40 minutes or so the second time.

Well worth getting there early. With the EMH changes, it might not be as easy as it was on the 8th to 13th, but still, it wasn't terrible... on different days we managed both the FP + single rider and also FP + many other rides.

We were there about a week ago and we were through the gate at about 7:45 and got our FP's at about 8:20-8:25 and it was for 12:40-1:40. We then went over to Mater's ride, only about a 15 min wait and then went on our way for all the other rides. Everything else had AMAZINGLY short waits! Soarin was only a 5 min wait. We walked right on Little Mermaid, Monsters, Ferris Wheel, and the water one (I can't think of the name) but that one twice in a row!

We were done with that park by the time we got off of RSR. Fantastic for a Monday !
