Just back from 10 great days at WDW. Here are some short reviews.

Cinderella's Breakfast----A relaxing quiet meal, with nice charcter interaction. The server was great. The pre-plated meal was average. I would do this again in a heartbeat.

Sci-fi--- Again a quiet and reaxing meal. The three kids had kids meals that they enjoyed. I only had salad and onion rings and I can't remder what my DH had . The food was pretty good and the service was also good

Donald's Breakfast---Dissapointed!! We waited awhile even with PS and both the waiter and the chacters were rushed. The food buffet style was fine. Don't waste your $$ on this meal.

Le Cellier----With the kids in child care I was ready for a nice meal and was very disappointed with this place. The cheese soup and pretzels were great, but everything else was not. Again, we felt rushed. Meals were out before we ate our soup. I ordered the prime rib and it was only 1/2 inch thick and my DH was disappointed with his NY strip steak. I will try a different steak place next time.

Chef Mickey's----What a nice character meal. The characters came over at least twice in the hour we were there. The buffet was great. The prime rib, chicken and fish were all good. The kids loved the kid's buffet as well as the make your own sundae. If you only do one character meal, make it this one.

Afternoon tea Grand Floridian--- Just my 7 year old and I did this. What a relaxing hour. My 7 year old had chocolate milk in her pot and I had the black tea blend made just for the Grand Floridian. The scones with Devonshire cream and preserves were outstanding and we both got 2 pastries ..Th entire bill was just under $15. What a bargain. I did tip $5 because the service was great. The place was almost empty. You could hear the orchestra playing in the lobby. The dress was casual.

Thank you for the reviews.
Sorry to hear you were disappointed in Donald's Breakfast. We had a nice time there last June & we were planning on going there again for our December trip. I hope they were just having an off day. Can I ask what time your PS was for?

I was thinking of doing the afternoon tea after spa treatments with my daughter.....which tea did you choose, or is there a choice on the menu....under $15 is just terrific!! I thought I read somehwhere there were several different choices on the tea menu to choose from.
Thanks
:D

Thanks for the reviews!
We had a similar experience at Donalds last year. It was a very stressful meal.

So glad to see that I am not the only one who thinks Le Cellier isn't the greatest place in the world.

Try the Yachtsman. I hear it's fab!

Jacksonsmom-- Our ps was for 10:00. We enjoyed EE( we also were picked for family of the day-walked thru the pagnani trail toally alone because they gave us a bunch of fast passes and while everyone headed to the Safari, we walked thru pagnani for 45 minutes before using the Passes for the safari) and then headed for our meal. We were hungry and the 20 minutes seemed like forever. Our waiter actually was walking and talking at the same time.

Daise--- they do have packages that include tea sandwiches and maybe more pastry selections. 1 page of the menu was the packages and one side was a la carte. If I remember the prices correct, the tea was $3 the chocoalte milk $2 -2 orders of pastries 2.75 ea $5.50 total and the scones 2 per order were 3.5.
When you ordered the pastries they brought over the tray and you picked 2. My daughter had a chocoalte covered strawberry , we both had a chocolate covered eclair(they were small but that was ok and had a peach mousse pastry. The scones came with two tiny jar or preserves to have on them. I think they were strawberrry and rasberry.

njdizneygal, The Floridian Tea sounds like fun. Is it necessary to make a PS for this; and if so, is it only during certain times of the day? Thanks. Shar

Wonderful reviews ~ Thanx for sharing!!!!!!

SamSam--- I called at 3:45pm for a 4:30 PS. I believe the tea starts at 2:00 and goes until 6.00. We were there on Labor Day and there were only 2 other tables of people. I'm sure you could walk right in and get a table most times of the year.
