Quick Review 12-18 through 12-25

Great Reviews! I love the Pictures from LTT thats good that your son was feeling better and was able to come eat with you.

Sounds like you had a great time at LTT - your pictures are great.

By the way, it's blue soap ;)

Gril...don't worry about the codes...it's adjoining rooms at SOG...was it 10 or 12 nights?:woohoo:

that's right!!! I was looking on SOG website today:rolleyes1 and Dec. 25 is on amber already!!! which means limited availability:eek: I'm going to talk to Mike tonight to see if we're going again, or doing a cruise or what b/c I better get something booked soon!!!

well, we did 12 last time but Mike said he'd only agree to 10 next time:rotfl2: w/our "pass" I'm sure that would be more than enough time... yeah, I actually just said that:eek: must go check my temperature:rotfl:

On Christmas morning we headed over to MK to soak in the Christmas feel. We had a Chef Mickey brunch ADR scheduled for mid-morning. The brunch was very nice. In addition to all the normal breakfast buffet items, they had many delicious lunch items including prime rib and pork loin. Once again, it was very good. We had a nice waitress and enough food to last us until very late in the day. I must say that I just love those Stickey Mickeys and I'm not telling how many I ate. They were just sitting there in that warm caramel sauce calling my name.:rolleyes1

We got to our ADR a little early. There was no other than CM's at the check in area. I could not believe my eyes. The last time we had Chef Mickey's ADR it took us a good 20 mintues just to get through the check in line. DS missed Mickey when he took a bathroom break. The character handler was so nice and got him over for a picture before we left. The handler also loved the boys Pluto Christmas hats so much that he brought a sharpie over to have Pluto personalize them with a signature on the underside of the bill. :woohoo:

This was a perfect end to a wonderful week at Disney. Our dining and food experiences were above average at almost every restaurant! The servers were very very nice and attentive! Here are some of our CM pics!

Great LTT and Chef Mickey's reviews!! I love your families' special Christmas hats....so cute!!!:santa:

Loving your dining reviews !

You have a great looking family. Love the Christmas hats, especially yours !

Yes MOM....I cleaned my plate. By the way...the soap is green...or was it blue. I kept my elbows off the table. Funny that you noticed the women on the screen...I hadn't caught that. Is it Jane Wyatt or Donna Reed...I can't remember?:headache:

I'm glad you are enjoying my reviews...I'm not too much of a foodie as long as my dairy products...ie butter, cheese, milk, cream, etc are real I'm happy. :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Not sure who the woman is, but she sure is admiring your pink hat.:dance3:

yeah, real dairy..........and real antipasto.

I can't say that I've ever had a Stickey Mickey. Are there any left??:rolleyes1

Is that it??? You didn't eat anywhere else?? You need to go back soon to do another review.:cutie:

Great Job Queenie.

You got that right, cupcake, I need to go back so I can do some more reviews! Oh, you don't know what a sticky mickey is? Where have you been?;) It's a yummy roll sitting in a big bath of caramel sauce...soaking it all up! Yum!

That is a picture from the Concourse Steakhouse. These actually were not in the shape of a Mickey head but they were sitting in that caramel sauce that you see in the picture.!

I have a few more CS places that we ate but all that's all the TS.:thumbsup2

Thanks everyone...I'm glad you enjoyed the dining pics even though they didn't have much food in them!

Ok...now this is starting to drive me nuts. 2x2s, I'm soooo glad you brought this up.:rolleyes1 :lmao:
The woman in the picture almost looks like Donna Douglas(Ellie Mae Clampett). I'm also thinking it could be the lady who played Kate in The Real McCoys (Kathleen Nolan).
YM, do you remember what shows were on during your dinner? Surely you weren't just enjoying your food and having a pleasant family conversation.:confused3

The Sticky Mickey sounds delicious!!!
I'm ready for the counter service reviews!!:woohoo:

Well, you leave me no choice. I think I should post the picture on the restaurant board and poll the audience. I looked for a list of the sitcoms they play and couldn't find one? You know someone on the DIS boards knows the answer. Yep, there are a few more CS places and then I'll be done.:sad2: Maybe I'll be back before you know it to share some more dining reviews!:rolleyes1

I'll try to remember what we ate at some of the CS restaurant. We stopped at Restaurantosaurus for lunch at AK.

DH: double cheesburger with fries, coke and a brownie

Me: 10 peice chicken NcNuggets, fries, coke, and strawberry shortcake

DS (10) double cheeseburger, coke, fries, and a bownie

DS (7) coke, shared nuggets with me!

This meal was fine. The boys though the paper straws were wierd. I didn't remember them having them in Feb?

Still enjoying the reviews - the Stickey Mickeys sound great, I didn't realise you could get them at Chef Mickeys too - thought they were only at Concourse.

Your reviews were great but it went so fast! I just don't want it to end!

I'd love to hear your CS table reviews too ..:)

Yeah, now that Tusker House is not the same----:headache: :headache:.

Paper straws?? I can't remember either. Now I feel like Donna searching my brain.:confused3 Who all was there?? Maybe Michele or Lesa remembers.

Get to writing girl----we want more.:rolleyes1

Sunshine Seasons

We had an early lunch here. It was just ok.

DH: Turkey and Muenster Cheese on Foccacia with Chipotle Mayonnaise, chips, and a coke. He subsituted the chips in place of dessert.

Me: From the Asian counter... I'm pretty sure one was called broccoli beef, sweet and sour chicken, coke, and butterfinger cheesecake. I shared with DS(10)

DS (7) Asian kids meal; sweet and sour chicken and rice, broccoli, and a fortune cookie. I stopped by the bakery counter to get him a dessert but they told me the fortune cookie was his dessert. He also had a coke.

Tangerine Cafe

We choose this for a CS dinner. We were doing the Illuminations cruise this night with our friends.:woohoo:

Shawarma Platters - served with side of hummus, tabbouleh and Tangierine CousCous salad with fresh Moroccan bread.
Chicken & Lamb $13.95
Lamb $11.95
Chicken $11.95

I think I ordered three of these...two lamb and one chicken, cokes for our drinks. The only dessert choice was baklava. I actually enjoyed the food. One of the boys didn't like it. I think it was DS (10)? They do have chicken tenders for kids if they are picky. I agree with most people who say the lamb is better!:thumbsup2 Ok, I hate to mention this but I'm curious if anyone else ever noticed some little flying bugs at this restaurant. I saw a few and thought they were a little creepy. They looked like an overgrown knat.:scared1:

Thanks for the latest reviews on Restaurantosaurus,
Sunshine Seasons and Tangierine Cafe!!

I think I would REALLY like to try Tangierine Cafe!!

Keep the reviews coming!!:woohoo:
