I have rented points for OKW for September. I know everyone says there is no maid service.

Does housekeeping (excuse me, mousekeeping) come once during the 6 night stay or do they not come at all?

Should we load up on towels the first night?

Thanks for any help!!

You will get trash and towel on day 4 of your stay. (Check-in is day 1, so if you check-in on a Sunday, your Trash and Towel day would be Wednesday.

They will take out the trash, give you fresh towels, soap, etc. You will not get clean bed linens nor a full cleaning such as vacuum, wash dishes etc. They'll basically be in and out in about 2-minutes tops.

For guests who stay 8-days or longer, then day 4 is a full cleaning day, and day 8 is a trash and towel day. The cycles repeat every 4-days.

You will get towels depending upon the size of your villa.

Studio and one bedroom get four bath towels, two hand towels and four face cloths

Two bedroom gets eight, four and eight.

Grand Villa get twelve, six and twelve.

If you want more, you will need to get an extra towel package. There is a charge for that. I don't really know what you mean about loading up on towels the first night.

Thanks for the replies!! By "loading up" I just meant that we could get extra towels right away so we wouldn't have to worry about it (we have 2 two year olds! ;) )

But, if there's a charge for extras maybe we can make do... can you only get an extra towel "package"? Is it expensive? It's just towels :confused3

I think the towel package is somewhere between $4 and $6. I'm sure someone will post the correct cost. I just wondered what size villa you rented. If you are in a 1 BR or larger you will have a washer and dryer in your villa if you need to freshen up your towels.

Last I heard towel paks are $6. If you have a 2bdroom or larger unit, it may be less expensive to go with extra trash and towel days, I think that is $10 per day requested, no matter what size room you are in.

I didn't see where you said what size unit you're renting. Unless it's a studio, you'll have a washer and drier which (in my view) makes the towel issue go away. We're always in a two bedroom unit and often decline the trash and towel service because we don't mind doing our own towels, have our own toiletries with us and like our privacy. Hope you enjoy your visit.
