Good morning! We are going to Sea World the week before Memorial Day in May. We will not ride any of the roller coasters but are interested in 2 of the rides offered on the quick queue. My question is - would it be worth the $80 to purchase it or are crowds manageable around that time?

Also, what is the best day of the week to visit Sea World?

Thanks for your time and God Bless!

I'd say no way. Which are the two rides? The only non-coaster ride which has long lines is Empire of the Penguin, but if you go directly there at rope drop, you'll beat the lines. We found virtually no time saved using QQ for Turtle Trek, and when we were there in August the line for Wild Arctic was only about 15 minutes without QQ.

If coasters are not your focus, then I personally would skip the QQ. Your $80 can be used for other fun things (like animal feedings) within the park to enhance your day. Just get there early and make the two rides you want to ride some of the first things you do when the park first opens.

As for the best day of the week to visit, this Busy Day Guide from the Dibb might help. It lists the Most Recommended, Least Recommended and "even" parks for all the different park families (SeaWorld, Disney, Universal & Legoland) in Orlando:

Isn't there some sort of priority show seating package you can purchase? I think if we didn't care about the coasters but had money in the budget, we'd go for that - that way you can maximize your park time by not having to get to the shows so early to get decent seats. We missed a few shows because my daughter was tired of getting to each one 30 or more minutes beforehand and sitting there when we could be hitting Manta a few more times!
