Hi,

Just pondering as to whether we might do Discovery Cove again, was thinking about a day but without the dolphin swim this time, but it won`t let me book without one of us doing the swim.

Has anyone been where none of you have swam with the dolphins and if so how did you book? Thanks

Hi Katie's Dad,

I'm not sure when you are going, but how about a day at Seworld's new waterpark "Aquatica" which is due to open next March? http://www.floridareview.co.uk/seaworld/aquatica.asp

That might offer you as similar experience to Discovery Cove with no dolphin swim (at a significantly cheaper price).

I can't answer your question though unfortunately.

Karen

There has to be at least one person in your party who is doing the dolphin swim.

In the past we have had members who have not done the swim, this was arranged over the phone. I believe there has always been some of us doing the Dolphin swim if that makes a difference. Best to ring, they have a toll free number I believe! :thumbsup2

Thanks. we are going in August and did decide not to do Discovery Cove this time, but was just looking and pondering.... like you do!

Might go for a balloon flight instead.

Your welcome

Thats a shame, Discovery Cove is a great day out but very exspensive :scared1: Have you thought about doing any of the Park Tours or Events instead? (I believe Epcot do a Dolphin Experiance) :)

Not sure what to do, we all did the dolphin swim on our last visit, so maybe we will / maybe we won`t. Think we need a chat to see exactly what else we all want to do and then make a decision.

Not so!! If you just want to visit without the swim you need to ring DC directly and it will be no problem, I know because this is what we are doing in August!

Excellent ~ Thanx for letting us know:thumbsup2

BTW where you all charged for the rate of non-dolphin swim?

Hiya Katies dad
When we went in November a couple of years ago we booked whilst we were in the Seaworld park, they was just the 2 of us, and neither of us swam with the dolphins. if i remember right it cost us about £75 each,
Hope this helps

Yes, both of us paid the non dolphin swim rate, can't remember exactly how much but around £75 as someone has said. :)
