Quick questions on Magic Band and MM..

Been a few years since we went..last trip was 2019 to MNSSHP pre Covid and I have a few questions regarding our upcoming trip. Hoping yall have answers vs me waiting on hold forever if I call WDW.

We bought magic bands for the first time and I figured out how to link them linked to our account. Do we need to do anything with them at the park that first day like activate them somewhere or do we just proceed to the entrance to go inside the park? Also, do they still do "paper tickets"? My daughter asked if she could get one for her scrapbook even though we have the magic bands.

Memory Maker, how do I activate this? The cast member we bought our tickets and it from at Disney said she linked it to our account. Do we just scan our magic band and its turned on or do we need to do anything else?

If you see your magic bands in your tickets/cards in MDE, then they are linked and you don't have to do anything. They'll work at all touch points and new ones will get the long range stuff. They do have plastic tickets, I haven't seen paper ones in a looooong time.

Memory Maker, how do I activate this?

I honestly can't remember. I think after you get a photo taken from a photopass photographer, you should be able to "activate" it.

Nothing to do to your MB, as sponica said, if you see them in MDE and they're active- make sure of that then your tickets will show up on your MB. You will go to the park entrance and a CM may need to help when you first check in but no, no paper tix. As far as memory maker, nothing to do. If you see a photo pass photographer, they'll scan your MB and your pics will automatically go to your MDE. Same for rides with photo pass.
