Quick questions for upcoming cruise

How cool are the restaurants? Will we be chilly in sleeveless dresses/tops? Also, I've read a tip to bring bungee cords to keep connecting doors open. How does that work? Last but not least, what the heck do you do with duct tape?? Thanks from a first-timer!

It is cool in the dining rooms, if you are a woman under 50 you need a sweater. If you are a woman over 50, the temperature is just right.

People claim to need duct tape to keep dresser drawers closed while the ship is in motion. THat might happen on other cruise lines, but I've never needed it on DCL.

I've always found the dining rooms to be comfortable....
