Hello there!

My tickets arrived on Monday :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc and it got me thinking, I am taking my two younger sisters, however they both have different surnames to me (my dad died when I was younger and my mum remarried and had Dsis x2) Is this likely to cause any problems at the US side - should I get a letter from my mum and step dad explaining?? :confused3

All answers greatly received!!

I would just in case. It will save any confusion and although you may not need them, I'm all for being prepared.

Even if US immigration don't care, you may - heaven forbid - need such a letter as authority to authorise any medical treatment etc.

Thanks!!!

I didn't even think about what would happen (god forbid!) in an emergency so thanks for allerting me to that one!!

I think, like you both suggested, I shall get one just in case!

I took two of my nephews with me to Orlando in August. We had three different surnames and the guy at immigration didn't say a word. I did have the necessary letters from parents to be on the safe side!

Andy
