Yes, soap and shampoo are provided by your room steward.

soap, shampoo yes, conditioner no... its a shampoo/conditioner combo I think.

Also, they provide lotion.

99.99% of the time DCL does. If there isn't any in your room. Ask your room steward (as many times as it takes) to get what you need. Most stewards are very, very, very good and you will not have any trouble with them servicing your room. THere have been a couple of posts that reported that their room steward didn't bring them soap, shampoo, enough towels, ice for the "refrigerator", etc but the good/great stewards greatly outnumber to poor ones.

If you like real conditioner for your hair then bring your own...what they give you is the combo shampoo and conditioner and it made our hair like straw...I was sure to pack our own the second cruise. They do have decent shampoo and contioner in the spa showers though!

We did not even take shampoo on our last cruise because we really liked the on board stuff. We both have pretty fine hair though....having heavy duty conditioner is not an issue for us.

The lotion is to die for. I asked for a couple of them to take home, and I was really bummed when we used it all.
