When you make a reservation online do you include kids under three in the total number of people?

The friend (see previous post) that I have has a family of 6, but two of them are under three. I put 5 people on their reservation because her mom is going with them. Should I have put 7????

Yes, everyone counts. 7 people will sit at that table so you need to book for 7.
HTH :)

Well poop! I wonder how difficult it will be if I call tomorrow and ask them to change it from 5 to 7??? She was so excited when I told her I got her reservations, now they might now work out :(

Did you check online if they had any availability for 7 ?

Yep there is nothing available anywhere. I was so excited just to get a Cape May and Crystal Palace for next week.

I just feel bad for getting her so excited.

Well she can always try to go with the ones she has and explain that she didn't know that the babies didn't count. I'm sure it's happened before.

I checked for Cape May next week (dinner?) and there are a few dates with availability, but they are at late times.

You have to include everyone, regardless of age. If she goes with the reservation without the babies, and the restaurant is filled to capacity when she gets there, they won't admit the extra people. Obviously they aren't going to leave the babies outside, so either two adults would have to sit out if that happened, or they'd have to go elsewhere.

Definitely try to change it. If you can't, they can try, but they do run the risk of not being admitted with extra people (or just having to wait longer for a bigger table).

Due to fire codes even tiny babies in arms count toward the restaurant's maximum capacity. Disney is very careful not to violate those codes.

You can always try to get a reservation for 2 people for around the same time. then when they go to the restaurant they can request to sit together. They may still have to wait a bit, but it is better than just showing up with more people than their ADR is for.
