This is a dumb one but I have to double check


Can I make ressies before my points come available in my Use Year?

Yes, provided that:

You are within your home resort 11 Month advantage, or 7 months for non home resort, AND your actual vacation dates are within your use year.

Example:

Today is January 1st.

Your Use Year is April, and you just purchased the SSR DVC without any previous year's points.

Today, you can book a vacation from April 1 and check-out November 1st at SSR.

Or Today, you can book a vacation from April 1 qnd check out July 1st at any DVC resort.

Of course, if you need to stay before Aptil 1st, you could borrow your 'Future' April 1st points into your current use year, which in this hypothetical case has no available points.
