Historically...when do the event schedules for the F&W Festival come out? I am trying to plan ADRs but have no idea what days to make reservations for, and what days to leave open for F&W Fest activities! It has never been an issure before, but that's because we always knew that PftS was our one F&W "event" and we did not do anything else. This year, we are skipping PftS, but we want to enjoy *some* special event this year.

Thanks!

Well, I am in a similar situation. This will be our first year going to F&W festival. I looked at last years list of events and times to get an idea of what the schedule will probably be like this year.

Then I made all my adr's in hopes that none will conflict with any choices I might be able to get. I figured I can cancel any that would conflict with a lunch or dinner event. If you have not already, then check out the restaurant review board, there are some very detailed reports from last years event. Also, I believe that we cannot even call to make any reservations for the event until sometime in August, not happy about that as I will be out of the country and will have to get someone to call for me. Good times to be had planning!!!

The events were released pretty late last year, July I think, and I think that is the pattern, If I was going this year I think I would plan ADR's for where and when I wanted to eat. Then if there is a conflict you can cancel if you get your special F & W experience.

Thanks for the quick responses. I already made my ADRs...but for instance, iIreally want to dine at Yachtsman's Steakhouse this trip, as we have never tried it and we are staying at BCV. I have an ADR for Saturday night...but then I am afarid that a great event will come up for Saturday night and I won't be able to get an ADR at YS on another evening at that late date!

Oh well, sometimes when i read about my "problems" I have to chuckle and remember the saying "Your problems are other people's dreams." That always puts things into perspective for me. I'll be at WDW for 4 nights, staying at BCV. Anything good that happens after that is just "gravy!":goodvibes

Historically, in July. The release date last year was July 30. The booking date was August 6.

Party For The Senses has been Saturday nights for a while now. 6:30pm-9pm. Sweet Sundays is usually on Sunday in the late morning. The Food and Wine Parings run every day. They started doing some fancy lunch events last year like the Jiko lunch. Most Signature Dinners and Exquisite Evenings seem to be Friday and Saturday nights. Regional Feasts were Wed./Thursday nights last year.

Thank you! That was a very informative and succint post. We will be there from Sat night and leave Wed morning. I would really like to do one of the special dinners, so maybe I should make an ADR for a restaurant that I can live without for Saturday night? That way, I can cancel and do a dinner. I can't believe I won't be there for a Wed, Thurs or Fri night! That limits my options! I don't want to do a lunch because the kids' clubs don't open until 4 pm and I don't want to drag DD (or PAY for DD) to one of the lunches.
