Quick question re: CityWalk

So, I'm getting ready to buy my 2-day park-to-park tickets on UT's website and noticed this:

plus this ticket includes fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days of admission to the paid entertainment venues of Universal CityWalk® ("CityWalk") which commences and includes the first day any portion of the ticket is used.

I plan on getting to our hotel on a Wed. afternoon and just hanging at the resort and CityWalk the rest of that day -- will not go to the parks until Thurs. and Friday. Will I have to pay admission to CityWalk w/o tickets or is the above referring to nightclubs with cover charges and/or special events? Thanks!

You can go into Citywalk any time without any kind of pass. This just refers to certain entertainment venues inside of Citywalk.

Yea citywalk is free and me and my wife love to just hang out at citywalk when the parks are crowded

You do have to pay to park tho. $15 unless you go after 6:00 when it is $3.00 to park.
