Quick question on non Park Hopper pass

We usually get Park hopper passes, however for an upcoming trip our adult son will be joining us for a few days and we plan to only do one park per day during his visit. If I get him a 4 day pass without park hopper, can we go to our " park of the day" as often as we choose during that day? So can we for example go to Epcot for rope drop, leave for a break, and come back to Epcot for dinner, as long as it is in the same day?

Yes, you are correct. You can come & go as long as you return to the same park.

Yes, that's not park hopping. Park hopping is hopping from one park to another.

Also, keep your parking receipt (if offsite) as you only need to pay to park one time per day. This also applies for anyone who chooses to park hop as well
