Has anyone ever heard of a heel being a sign of strength?

Nope, but I've heard of it being a sign of weakness. Achilles Heel, much? (Gotta love Greek mythology)

That's why I'm asking, I've always heard it as a sign of weakness, but only in reference to the Achilles Heel.

I suppose it could be. Like the phrase "dig your heels in" can mean to be strong against opposition.

And theres one part in Genesis... Genesis 3:15... Where it says "he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." This is often looked at as a sign of weakness.

I've never looked at it either way.

It could be looked at as a sign of strength or weakness, everyone interprets it diferent.

Perconally, I view it as a sign of weakness because of mythology and the bible.

i agree with the whole "weakness" achilles tendon thing.
but then again patti makes a good point.
i guess its how you phrase it?
