Can any Sydneyites tell me how easy it is to get from Sydney virgin domestic terminal over to the international terminal?

I know how to get from Qantas over there but have no clue about Virgin.

Any help would be great.

You shouldn't have a problem, as you can almost reach out and touch the Virgin domestic terminal from the Qantas domestic terminal. The shuttle bus (I am sure they run them to international) is likely to be the same bus, just stopping at both terminals.

Hi Ms Shuttergirl - when we flew VAustralia last year, we just found someone who worked for Virgin Blue as soon as I got off the plane and they showed us where to go and called the bus driver to tell us how long it would be. We waited maybe 10 to 15 mins and then we were on our way to the international terminal.

Have a great trip! :goodvibes

You are a gem, thank you so much for this. I'm sure it will all be fine, I'm just stressing :lmao:.

Dang.....I think I'm disappointed. You mean ....the airline! :lmao:

You are so rude Princess. Mind always in the gutter :rotfl2:

Hi Shuttergirl!

"Virgin Seamless" which is a bus service takes you between the domestic and international terminals.

If you have a formal connecting journey where they check your bags right through to your final destination at your originating domestic airport (that is, one ticket - not a Virgin Blue booking and then a separate international V Australia booking) then this is free - if you have two separate bookings it's about $15.

If you have a formal connecting journey, when you check in for your first domestic flight to Sydney they'll give you a little info pack that will contain a map and a voucher for a Virgin Seamless bus to use at Sydney airport.

When you get to Sydney domestic, go to the Virgin Seamless lounge near Gate 37 where you can check in for your flight to the US and get your V Australia boarding pass, and then go downstairs and the bus will take you over to the international terminal, where you can head straight through into immigration.

Happy travels!!

Thank you so much, this is exactly what I needed. I've just printed this out and will use it to help us tomorrow. Again, thanks so much.
