Anyone know what park the tour ends in? Do they return you to Epcot at the end or elsewhere?

Thanks. I'm thinking that is what they'd still do since some folks will have driven to the park for the tour.
Trying to plan what we want to FP after we are done. I think we'll stick around Epcot for the evening.

I was due to do this next week, but cancelled after it changed from 4 parks to 2 :-(

Wow. I didn't realize they changed the scope of the tour. I have it booked for the end of October. We've done both Keys to the Kingdom and Undiscovered Future World so I wonder if it would be a lot of overlapping info. I knew there would be some but really wanted to see the two parks not covered by the other tours.

Sorry to hijack your thread AngiTN. If you take the tour before the middle of Oct can you report back? Thanks.

With everything closed off at HS there isn't much of a reason to go there

Yeah, you're right. I guess I was thinking we'd still see the costume department but it was probably moved when they closed the Backstage Tour or whatever it was called.

Have a good time! I'm looking forward to your review.

Wow!!! We're supposed to go in 2 weeks but will cancel if it's only 2 parks now. Where did you see that?

Its on the Disney website under the official synopsis for the tour.
I've already emailed Disney to see if they can shed some light on the change, will report back if I hear anything.
My partner and I are going on the tour in October (B'day present from him to me) we will both enjoy it nevertheless.

I guess you go to the Costume department that is in Epcot, near Norway, instead of the one at DHS. This is now also in the Undiscovered Tour in Epcot.

During Backstage Magic in 2012, we saw at DHS Tower of Terror and the Costume department. At Animal Kingdom we went to the place where the Parade floats were kept.

It changed a couple of months ago. A friend of mine did it, expecting it to be all four parks, and at the end, when she asked why it wasn't, they said they'd changed it. They did give her half her money back when she complained though. Looking at it, I'm sure they've reduced the price as well, although I can't be sure. I ended up cancelling and booking DestiNATIONS at Epcot instead.

It's still a 7 hour tour and honestly, with what is not there at HS and since there are no parade floats to see at AK I can't imagine it's going to be a loss to not go there.
Since the time is still the same I'm ok with the changes.

Interesting! I'm thinking of taking this tour as well, next time I'm in Orlando. I was torn between KTTK which is a much less expensive 5-hour tour of the Magic Kingdom, or Backstage Magic which is only 2 hours longer but costs more than double and uses up extra time with a full sit-down lunch at Wilderness Lodge. I wonder if it's better to do KTTK first, or if would be redundant.

While the idea of visiting all four parks was intriguing, I had been a little concerned that this was just a marketing hook, and some of the theme park stops would be a little superficial just to squeeze them into the day. I'm hoping this means that you'll get more in-depth access to the parks that you do visit... or perhaps more time in other exclusive backstage areas.

@AngiTN I look forward to hearing what you think!

I'm guessing in grand Disney tradition they aren't lowering the price despite the reduced offerings are they?

Seeing how it's still the same length as it always was I'm thinking it's just they moved some of the things you saw. Like central costuming. You went to it at HS but now you go to it somewhere else. But they didn't take it away.
I did consider KTTK instead, before we booked anything. I do wonder if some of it is duplicated but I'd still probably do KTTK later, since it must be even more in depth. Maybe someone who sees this and has done both can comment

Nothing is reduced really. It's still 7 hours. You don't go to HS for the costumes because they aren't there. You still go to the costume storage. You don't go to AK for the parade storage because the parade storage isn't there. I didn't expect the price to drop

When did that change? We did the Epcot tour in May and it was not part of that tour
