Hello! We leave next Sunday (YIPPEE!!!) for OKW and I was just wondering how you tip mousekeeping. We are only staying four nights, so we will get one T&T during our stay. How much do you tip them? Is there anyone else I should tip (that would differ from any regular hotel/resort)? Thanks!

Housekeeping is not a tipped position at WDW and none should be expected.

That said, many people do choose to leave a tip. If you fall into that category, do remember that in addition to the T&T service, you did receive a full cleaning before your arrival (or, if you prefer a different perspective, someone is cleaning up your room after you depart.)

You'll get a wide variety of answers on what is appropriate. Leave whatever you are comfortable with. No matter how much, I'm sure it's a plesant surprise for the CM.

Thanks! I thought it was a tipped position, by the way people talk here. I'm sure I'll leave something anyway, and I did realize that they have to clean up after us when we leave. :flower:

We have found that by leaving a tip we sometime get little extras in our room. An example would be more of those little displays they make with the towles and hand clothes which the kids love. Also we usually get more then enought fresh bath towles and shampoo left in the room.

As for the amount of the tip, we usally take into account how many are in our party and how many rooms we've used.

Finally, there used to be a web site where you could go to get Mousekeeping logos to print on your envelope. If I can find this web site again I'll post the link :earsboy:

Thanks, I'd love to print those out! I might just use the little paint chips from Home Depot if you can't find it.
