Quick question about removing two guests from our FP's.

This is a departure day for two people in our group and I made Slinky FP's for all 5 of us for that evening however they will be leaving for the airport around noon so I want to remove them BUT I'm super worried about screwing it up and losing the FP for the other 3 of us!

We are just going to rope drop MK in the morning and then they will fly home and the rest will go to HS in the evening for the slinky FP.

Just be careful to remove each of those FPs from the exact name(s) you are choosing.

The safest way to do it without losing anyone else’s SDD FP is to go to the booked SDD:
Select Cancel
Select the 2 guests who no longer need SDD
Make sure only the 2 guests are Selected and Cancel Selections

Or, even safer:
After you have entered the FP line for SDD, Cancel the FPs for the 2 others.

I have the (possibly unpopular) opinion that it is equally valid to not cancel their FP+ and just let them expire, especially if you think there's a risk of screwing it up. Unlike a restaurant, where an unused reservation deprives other people who could've been seated, unused FastPasses simply mean that the standby queue will move just a second or two faster. That might not seem like much, but the benefit is given to over a thousand standby guests who are no less deserving of it than two people who luck out on FPs at the last minute.

I almost always cancel my unused FastPasses, but if you don't in this case, you're not doing anyone any harm.

Well I was going to book them FP that morning at MK for space mountain (the rest of us don't care to ride it anyway and we will just ride TTA while they do Space. We are going to rope drop starting in Frontierland so I thought i'd be safe and get them a FP for Space in case there is a line by the time we get over there.
However, I'm scared to do I because I don't want to mess up our Slinky that evening. Maybe I should just leave it alone?

If you Select only the 2 people who need to Cancel SDD, you can’t mess up anything else.

Just go to your SDD FP and Select Cancel. When you see all the names and only select the 2 correct names, you continue from there.

If this causes you anxiety, just tell those 2 people they have to wait in Standby for Space Mountain.

If you'd like to see the user experience of canceling certain people without the fear of hitting CANCEL and losing everything immediately, try doing it for a less desirable FP – but obviously don't do the final cancelation. Once you're confident of how the process works, go in and do it for real on your SDD.

Update: I was able to correctly cancel that Slinky FP for 2 members of our party!
Just wanted to say thanks.

FYI I did practice with a non important one 1st lol!
