Quick question about Playhouse Disney and EMHs

For anyone who has actually been there:

Does the Playhouse Disney show run during the MGM evening extra magic hours?

The reason I ask is because on the unofficial websites, it lists Playhouse Disney with extra shows on EMH nights. BUT on the actual Disney website, it is not listed for EMH.

Since my little girl is 2, this will be one of the highlights of our trip and it's very important for me not to miss it.

Oooh, I can answer this!!

We we're just there this past week and the only time we were able to see Playhouse Disney was during the evening extra hours. My DS LOVED it. Honestly, the 9:30 show was a little late for him he was so tired and couldn't dance. But he still enjoyed it. I prefered the late show since the crowd was really small and we had a good view of the stage.

It runs I think at 7:15, 8:15 and 9:15. They are strick and once the door is closed you cannot enter so be early. My DS fell asleep at 8pm so DH and I were able to eat a nice meal at the Brown Derby. When he woke up at 9pm we headed straight to Playhouse Disney. He LOVED it. Shouted Bear and JoJo the whole time! Unfortunately, we only saw the show once due to his nap schedule and the crowds. But he was happy just to look at the huge billboard outside the building. Plus we bought Bear and Jojo books at the Once Upon A Toy store in DTD to make up for it.

We were a little disappointed with the show. If you sit up in the front rows it si very hard to see the puppets. they are down in a recessed stage. If you sit further towards back or middle of room you'll be good and sit in front of stage not off to the side.
