We currently pay our dues monthly by having them taken out of our checking account ~ is it possible to have them charged to a credit card instead?

I'd like to earn as many rewards points as possible ;)

Not unless you pay them in a lump sum in January.

If you are set up for monthly payments, at any time you can pay the balance in full by credit card. So you can pay monthly for a few months, then pay off the balance with a credit card at any time during the year.

You may also be able to make partial payments by credit card. (I say "may" because I know you can do this with a gift card, I'm just not sure if they will do it with a credit card.) It won't take the place of your regular monthly payment however. It will just lower the balance due causing you to be paid in full earlier in the year than usual. For example, say your dues are $100 per month and it's mid March so you have already made three monthly payments. You call Member Accounting and make a $200 dues payment by credit card. You will still be debited for your April, May, etc monthly payments but as of the October payment you will be paid in full for the year.

So you can pay dues up front with a Disney Gift Card?
It has been allowed in the past but now that I think about it, someone posted here recently about some issues paying dues with gift cards but I don't remember the details. I'm pretty sure you can still use Disney VISA reward dollars but there might be an issue with gift cards.

You can pay the full balance of the dues with a Disney Gift Card if you haven't made any monthly payments.

The issue reported was that someone wanted to pay their dues with a Disney Gift Card after several monthly payments were made and they were told they couldn't at that point.

Thanks everyone. We sometimes get awards/recognition at work and instead of cash, we now have to "buy" items from a list and one of the options is a Disney gift card. This might be a good way to use it.
