Quick question about FastPass

1) Before you put your ticket in it tells you what time the FastPass will be for ,right?

2) Does it tell you how many FastPasses are left for that time? I was just wondering so I don't get a fast pass for one time and DH will get a fast pass for a different time...

3) Each person has to have a FastPass right? Not just one per party?

No, it doesn't tell you how many FPs are left.

That's right. Each person has to have a FP.

So if I get a FastPass and then Dh gets one and our times are different we can only go to the later one if we want to ride together?

The most it will be different is 5 minutes if you get them at the same time (or are they 10 minutes apart?). Yours might be 12:00 to 1:00 and his 12:05 to 1:05.

Anytime I put our tickets in the machines I always got the same time printed on them.

Not necessarily. The time that you can get another FastPass will be printed on the fastpass.

Say you get a fastpass for Space Mountain that says you can return any time between 10:00a - 11:00a and it says you can get another fastpass at 10:20am. Say it's 10:30am right now and you're in Frontierland and you haven't returned to Space Mountain. You can get a fastpass for Big Thunder, thereby letting you hold 2 fastpasses. Then you can go to Space Mountain before 11:00am and still be holding a fastpass for Big Thunder.

May 16 shouldn't be crowded at all. We went around that date last year and the longest we've ever waited is about 20 minutes for Winnie the Pooh which is a slow loading ride. Haunted Mansion had less than 5 minute waits most days. We fastpassed ToT so no waits, same as RnR.

Relax, you'll be fine and you'll have a great time.

Fast passes are sold out when the come back time (posted above the area where the machines are) gets to a half hour before park closing (may be one hour for some rides).

You can get your next fast pass a coupl'a minutes after the come back time for the fast pass you already have, but with a maximum delay of about two hours from fetching the fast pass you already have (2 hours 5 minutes to be exact). Sometimes sooner if the park is not so busy.

Something we learned from a CM - if your FP is for 12:00-1:00, you can actually use it anytime that day after 12:00. They might prefer that you use it before 1:00, but they won't turn you away anytime after that. I did hear one CM make a snide remark under her breath about our not being anywhere close to the time on our FP, but another CM had specifically told me that it was okay to use it anytime after the designated time. That came in very handy when we ended up on the other side of the park and didn't want to rush back just to get to a certain ride by a particular time.

I would not count on this happening for you...we have seen many occasions when humiliated families were turned away for trying to use "expired fastpasses".
I wouldn't want to miss riding one of the bigger attractions hoping a CM would not enforce the time on the pass.
But then again I wouldn't want to go through the embarassment of being sent away either.
We have seen (and experienced) times when a ride has been broken down that day and "expired fastpasses" have been honored for that day.
I have heard of folks occasionally slipping by with late times....however we have witnessed many more times when people when not allowed on rides because they were attempting to use "expired fastpasses"

I agree. I'm always squeamish when someone recommends this -- it appears a lot on these boards, so I do think the odds are good that you can do it. However, used FP for TT during Easter/Spring Break and I saw a large group of teens turned away. Don't know if it was the size of their group or because FPs were sold out for the day that they were turned away, but they looked embarassed and saddened.
