Hi all,

Last year I couldn't ride WWoHP because I was too big, but this year.....I AM GOING!:banana::banana::banana:

My question is this: We won't have anyone in our party that will not be experiencing the ride and I've heard that the line for lockers is a little long. Any strategies ... like other locker locations. Also, can regular fanny packs go on the ride, but not back packs?

Thanks!

Fanny packs are fine as long as they aren't huge. The only other choice for lockers other than at Forbidden Journey are the day lockers at the front of the park which cost money (either $8 or $10.. can't remember).

If you can do without bags, fanny packs are the way to go :)

Fanny pack it is! Thank you!

That works most of the time. Sometimes they will even ask you to put a fanny pack in a locker. It depends on who is working.

If you do need a locker, see if you can around and walk directly into the back of the locker area (instead of turning to your right immediately after entering, go around to your left and down a little bit). The lockers in the back are often less crowded and easier to access than the ones right inside the door.

last week I had no problems getting my stuff into the locker, it was when I was coming back, it was MOBBED. I literally was stuck in a corner for a while before some poor soul took pity on me and let me out. Might've just been because when I first put my bag away the ride was down and we were hoping we got on (we did) and when we came out it was fully functioning...

hope that gives you an idea of crowds just in case your fanny pack needs a locker!

Thanks everyone....I'll make sure to take small fanny packs that day and if I need the locker, I'll try going around the back and most of all...I'll be happy just to be on vacation! Thank you all again!

My daughter and I used our digital camera bags and bought those hiking clips to attach them to our belt loops. Never once were we stopped to put anything in a locker.

I liked this option more than a fanny pack

Yes, that would probably work good too assuming your camera is small. I had a pretty good sized DSLR, don't think they would have let that through. ;)

ETA: Plus, I borrowed the camera and since I spent lots of $ on this trip, I wasn't too eager to have to pay to replace it if I lost it on a ride.

last October we were told the fanny packs couldn't be carried on. You are at the mercy of the attendant:confused3
