Quick question about discounts

I am so confused about my vacation planning because I'm having to make plan revisions due to airfare and the fact that my first day of classes is the last day of my vacation. Drat!!!

Even though we're cutting back on our vacation because of high airfare, we're now considering 3 nights at RPR, instead of the 2 we have booked now. This means we can take advantage of the stay more/play more discount, but we also have AAA. If i book through AAA, can I get both discounts? Or is it either/or? I know at WDW, I've been able to sorta double-dip, but I can't remember exactly how that worked. Anyone have any advice? We're thinking of getting out tickets through the mousesavers link to undercover tourist and booking our hotel through AAA. Is this the best way to save money?

You can't combine discounts, unfortunately. Undercover tourist is a good deal for tickets. I would call the hotel and ask what is the best discount. You can book all deals through them.

We called before and they said they can't book AAA, but maybe that person was mistaken. Either way, we'll try calling and see what their best rate is vs AAA (gotta find a travel agent for that one, darnit!).

Anyway, thanks for the info! It's good to know the discounts won't combine. I bet it'll work out to the same amount, whichever I choose.

Probably when you called before, the AAA rates weren't available yet. The Loews reservation line can definitely book AAA. You don't need a travel agent for Universal hotels. Try this number (888) 430-4999
