Quick question about checking in??

Does your whole family have to be with you for check-in? I've always had them with me so it was never an issue, but I'm hatching a plan for this upcoming trip and wondered if that was a rule or something??

Only one adult (age 18 +) actually needs to be present and can check-in for the entire room.

In the past Disney has been known, especially during free dining, to want to see everyone who is in the room. They don't do it very often, but it is possible.
