Quick question about CC deposits...

I know they require them for CRT. My CC was charged $25 for a PS for 4 people. I thought they just held the PS with a CC. Will they deduct this from the actual bill (kind of like pre-paying)? Do I need proof that they charged my CC?

Thanks for any advice. I just don't want to be caught at breakfast being charged an extra $25 without proof that they already charged me! lol

For CRT they DO charge the credit card immediately. If the CC does not go through, the PS is dropped. This is the ONLY meal where this happens. Any other CC number taken for other meals like Hoop-Dee-Doo or an major holiday PS, is just a hold.

And, yes, your charge goes towards the bill. If you are still not sure, have your CC statement with you. But many people have reported smooth transactions at CRT with this arrangement.
