quick question about 4/3

We're leaving Jan 11 for 6 nights, I just paid in full this week, and here's my question:

We're booked at Pop, however after using the code, I discovered it was almost the same price to stay at Port Orleans. Think they'll let me change the reservation after we paid in full? I'd call now, but it's too late. And we'd also get the 200 dollar gift card

Well, I called. They wouldnt give me a refund, but for $150 more we upgraded to Port Orleans Riverside, and 2 $200 Disney gift cards. My husband said I'm the only person he knows who calls for a refund, and ends up spending more.

The POR looks gorgeous! I can't wait! only 43 more days!

Because we have rooms booked. On for myself and DD18, the other for DS24 and his gf.

I meant 2 rooms booked on 2 seperate resrvations...thats how we got the 2 gift cards.

Still not a bad deal, all in all.

I thought so too...now, with the dining plan and the gift cards, I'm only going to bring about $200 cash with me. Everything is basically paid for. I was told on the phone the cards could also be used to tip at resturants. That sounds like a plan!
