Quick PTR: Family's First Trip to Disney World!!!

Hi everyone, just thought I would do a quick PTR before we embark on our trip to Disney in 2 weeks.

The cast of characters include:
Me (26), SAHM by day, obsessive Disney planner by night
DH (30) hard-working firefighter, he's just along for the ride
DS1 (4) loves all things Toy Story & Phineas & Ferb
DS2 (will be 2 next week) loves Toy Story & anything big brother likes
My Mom & Mother-in-Law, both are coming along to be a part of their only 2 grandchildren's first trip to Disney World

This will be everyone's first trip to Disney other than myself. I went when I was 13 with my middle school. It was less than perfect. I got food poisoning at Sea World & was sick the remainder of the trip . Since I was so sick, when we went to Epcot, my teacher left me on a bench in France & told me she would be back to get me. I ended up sitting on that bench all night until the park was closing. Yes, they forgot about me! I followed the crowd to the buses & found my way back to the hotel. When I got there, I found the teacher & my classmates. They didn't even know they left me at Epcot . They thought another group came to get me. Needless to say, my parents never wanted to let me go anywhere else without them again when they found out about it.

So, after that experience, I am determined to make this trip magical! DH thinks the boys may be too young but I think they are at the perfect age for it to be truly magical. DS2 will be turning 2 years old next week. We are having a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse themed party in preparation for our trip the next week

We will be driving from Birmingham, AL to Orlando. I have been told it's about a 9-10 hr drive. This should be fun with the boys . We are leaving the day before we check into our Disney Resort, which will be the All-Star Music. We will stay at a cheap Orlando hotel overnight then check into ASM the next day & head straight to the parks

Here is our itinerary:
Day 1- Magic Kingdom followed by Dinner at O'hana
Day 2- Epcot with Lunch at Le Cellier
Day 3- Animal Kingdom followed by dinner at Chef Mickey's
Day 4- Magic Kingdom followed by dinner at Planet Hollywood
Day 5- Hollywood Studios with lunch at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater
Day 6- Free Day- Boys will get to pick which park they want to go back to after breakfast at O'Hana

We will be on the DDP. We will probably eat our CS meals in the parks. Haven't decided any of those yet. We also decided to skip the extra magic hours at the parks. Our boys are little so we won't be at the parks late (or early) . We would rather go the days the parks are less crowded anyway.

I will be doing a trip report & dining review when we get back. Hopefully I will remember to take lots of pictures to share.
