Quick Princesses Question

Okay.... We have recently gotten back into the Disney loop since having children. Somewhere along the way, Princess Aurora has come about and we have no idea what movie she is from. Can someone please give us the lowdown on Princess Aurora? Thank you!

Princess Aurora is better known as Sleeping Beauty.

Assuming you don't know that tale, i will retell you quickly.

Princess Aurora was born to a king and queen. She was given three good fairies to watch over her as she grew up. However, she also acclaimed a bad fairy (witch) called Maleficent. She placed a spell on aurora saying that on her 16th birthday she would prick her finger on a spinning wheel, making her fall into a deep sleep, which she would not wake up from until she was kissed by her true love.

The king and queen sent her away to live with the three fairies. Aurora was blissfully unaware of he spell and she spent her days happily playing in the woods and dreaming of a 'prince' whom she falls in love with.

Sure enough, on her 16th birthday, she pricks her finger, and the whole kingdom falls to sleep in a deep slumber. Until prince phillip(whom aurora dreamt about) comes to the rescue, kisses her, she wakes up, and everyone lives happily ever after

Is Prince Charming from Cinderella or Snow white? and if it is Cinderella then what is the princ's name in Snow white?

She is also known as Briar Rose - which is what the three fairies named her when they lived in the woods

Prince Charming is from Cinderella, don't know the name of Snow White's prince ... guess I need to dig out the Disney videos, LOL!

The Prince from Snow White doesn't have a name- he's just "The Prince". Prince Charming is Cinderell'a Prince, Phillip is Aurora's Prince, Eric is Ariel's Prince, and The Beast in his Prince form also has no name (but is called "Beast" when he is in his beastlt form).

Oh my goodness! How do you keep all of the princes and princesses straight? LOL

My DD is totally into Toy Story and Monsters Inc. right now. I can name all of those characters, but not the princes and princesses. I guess it's just a matter of time before she gets interested in them too.
