quick pin question with booking

i am on the phone right now booking nov. i have a pin for the LAST night of an 8 night stay. the first 7 nights is rack.

they are telling me i need 2 reservations. one for the last night and one for the first 7 nights?

she said it can only be one reservation of the pin STARTS the stay and then blacks out. meaning the first night discounted and then the other nights rack?

will this mess me up down the road for other pins or reservation changes if needed?

over xmas my pin was for the first 5 nights and no pin the last 2 nights and was only one reservation.

My guess is if you were there at Christmas and the pin was available the first day you checked in then you got it for the entire trip. At least that is what is usually the norm. However, it you pin is only good for the end of the trip, you will probably have to make two seperate reservations to get the pin. I don't think that will be a problem but you may have to check out and then check in again. Hopefully, you will not have to move rooms. As far as it missing up the other pins you get in the future, I don't see a problem. Sorry I can't be of more help. Maybe someone else will step forward.
