I hadn’t planned on making it to the park yesterday but my plans changed and I was able to visit for about 2.5 hours. I leave for NYC — my favorite city in the world — on Wednesday and won’t be back at DL until 10-23.
Nothing special to report, really. Again, I was only there from rope drop until 10:30. However, I was first into the parking structure for the first time ever and I got the very first parking spot! Small victories
.
I rode Casey Jr. for the first time in about three years. That was nice and broke up my routing a bit, which I think is important to do on occasion.
I simply couldn’t get into the right mindset with respect to Buzz. I believe that my highest official score for the day was about 1.6 (although I did go over 2,096,000 and my score reset once - so about 3,010,000. But it didn’t count, obviously :-(). After my first ride of the morning, I saw that someone had already won first place with 2,048,000. That’s hard to beat for a few reasons, all of which I’ve mentioned before.
Lastly, my favorite CM at Buzz - Ayah, from Beirut - will leave Disneyland on Wednesday after five years. So it’ll be sad not to see her there again. She’s always been her pleasant and kind.

My first-place parking spot!

The tram walkway was empty (for a minute
