DH and I were surprised with a night at POP from my parents to go to SWW. We booked the room on Monday. Did online check-in Monday afternoon and checked in on Saturday for 1 night. We drove down early and went to DTD to go to TRex for lunch. It was so much fun. Got there for when it opened shared an appetizer platter and got the Meteor Bites dessert. Those donuts were so good. Even splurged for slushy drinks in the collector bone cup. Only issue was the noise but we still had a blast. Got out of TRex and realized we missed the downpour. YAY! Didn't get wet. Drove over to POP and checked in. Took less than 5 minutes since we did the online. Our packet was ready with the room keys and the room was ready. We were in 5367 which was in the 60's on the 3rd floor overlooking the main pool. It was great. We never heard the noise from the pool at all. It was really quiet and we got the king we requested. We went down for some swimming then came back and went to DHS. Got some great pics of the characters walking around for SWW. Then went back to POP for more swimming and some dinner. We were exhausted coming home yesterday but it was a great trip. Our first overnight only trip and it was worth it and something we're going to do again in the future. I actually feel rested and in a good mood at work this morning which is amazing.
