Friends are taking our blow up twin mattress and we need to know for sure if that and the little electric pump can be a carry on.
 
Thanks, I looked on the TSA site and don't see anything similar.
 
I don't know the answer to the question, however I will say if they can bring the pump as a carryon to allow extra time for screening.

At Christmas we flew with my daughter's nebulizer and meds. I was more concerned about the meds making it thru security. They scanned and swabbed the nebulizer multiple times both outbound and inbound. As he said, it's basically a mini air compressor. I would think the same would happen with an electric pump.
 

I brought my aero twin as a carryon in Jan on Southwest with no problems. And no problems with TSA either.
 
yes you can. we always travel with my 8 year old DD's twin inflatable mattress as a carry on. never had a problem with the pump.
