Quick Meal in DTD

Hi -

If we have 6pm seats for La Nouba - where is a good place to get a quick bite in DTD? We have 3 kids but they're not really picky eaters.

hey

there are two must do QS in DTD. The first is Earl of Sandwich, in the marketplace this truly is one of the best sandwiches in the world. The wait can be quite long but it is well worth it and if it is nice out there are seats outside. The other is Cookes of Dublin, next to Raglan Road this small Irish QS has a small but tasty menu. They have fish and chips, fried shrimp, and much more. And while you eat they fry up snickers or donuts. Timed so that they are done when you finish with your entree. (the fried candy bars were AMAZING!) the only downside to Cookes is the lack of seating (this can also be the case at Earl if you wish to sit inside). It is worth waiting for a table though. If you are looking for a TS then i would recommend Bongos or T-Rex Cafe. Bongos is Gloria and Emilio Estefan's restaurant with great cuban food. T-Rex is much like a rainforest cafe and has surprisingly good food. T-Rex can however be a bit pricey. (My family just got a few apps to split and my brother got a salad and it came to around $100)

The House of Blues is right next to the La Nouba show. We enjoy it a lot; it is however, a sit-down restaurant. But since it is close, you'd have time to linger a bit without fear of being late to the show. Service and food are very good. Also, Earl of Sandwich is terrific!

I would highly recommend Wolfgang Puck Express. One of the best CS options at WDW!

definatley wolfgang puck express or Earl of sandwich. take a look at the menus on the Dis or allears. you can't go wrong with either

Another vote here for Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express; if I had to pick one though, it would be Earl of Sandwich. The line is always long but I didn't find the movement of the line to be terribly slow. Seating can be hard to come by so if would be a good idea to have a member of your party try to snag a table while in line.

1) Earl is OK, but a real long walk to/from la Nouba parking.
2) I recommend the walk-up window to Bongos
. . . good steak sandwiches
. . . chicken sandwiches
. . . cuban sandwiches
. . . ice sides
3) An alternative is an appy at House of Blues.
. . . too expensive as a Quick Service
. . . but, good selection of munchies/appys to mix-and-match
