Should you really have soft-sided luggage so it can be stored underneath your bed in the cabin or does "regular" luggage fit as well. Thanks!

Most regular luggage should fit under the bed, as well, unless it's really wide. The beds are probably a good 6 inches off the floor. If they don't fit under, you can store them in the back of the closet, that should keep them out of your way.

I was told in some cases, your room steward may be able to store your empty luggage for you. Has anyone done this? We will be 4 adults (we are very close) in one category 6 room so we want to ask our steward for this option.

We had two large suitcases and three smaller bags. We stacked the smaller bags inside the larger cases so that it took up half the room and put them in the closet ( which I thought was fairly big). I read that idea on the disboard. I didn't think to look under the bed.

Some posters have said if your suitcase does not fit under the bed to try to lift the bed frame up, because there is more room under the bed once you clear the frame.

Hope that made sense.

MJ

If you lift up the bed frame (really not that heavy) the bags fit nicely. We had one large hard-sided piece for the bottles we brought (in bubble wrap, of course -- to be used again on the return trip for new ones!) and several softer suitcases. They all fit & we had all those cabinets, drawers & shelves for everything to be stored that we needed to use... and all this in our cat. 12 room!!
