My dear friends who have been sent on their dream trip to Disneyworld (with only 4 weeks to plan- but given completely on donations!) will have an opportunity tonight to go out "by themselves" they will leave their boys (ages 5 & 9) at the cub's den at WL- this is their first (and probably last) trip so I'm trying to help them find the perfect restaurant where they can indulge themselves. I think somewhere nice and quiet with good food and ambience- not too hard I hope at Disney! Thanks for all your replies in advance- I'm going to phone her back this afternoon to give her your suggestions!! Thanks!!

Is to have them to cinderellas castle. Me and my husband did the castle on our honeymoon and LOVED it. Its so special and unique. and an added plus, VERY easy to get to from the wilderness lodge. Other restraunts are nice, but to me nothing is as special as the castle.

My vote is for CG. It it the perfect blend of great food and the best view in all of WDW. from the 15th floor of the Contemporary, it seems as if you are "flying" over the Magic Kingdom. The menu is varied and interesting, and for food quality, it is clearly one of the better restaurants on site.

For a bit more "romantic" atmosphere. Some of the restaurants at the Grand Floridian may fit the bill a little better.

Good Luck

My vote would be for the Kona Cafe, mainly because it is my favorite restaurant in WDW. They could also stroll the grounds of the Poly, have a tropical drink in the Tambu Lounge while watching the castle change colors and if its a fireworks night, watch them from either the lounge or the beach.

I would vote California Grill--although it doesn't really fit the bill on "quiet." It's classy but fun and you look right over the Magic Kingdom. Good choice for an adult meal and for first time visitors.

The fairy tale stop would be Victoria and Alberts, but it is a budget-buster!

Narcoosee's!!!!

Love the atmosphere, adore the food, think that the service is top notch... also think watching the castle change colors while we dine is quite magical! It is our little bit of heaven... then we stroll the grounds of the GF and listen to the combo in the main lobby. Makes for a very nice evening!
