They will come out with the green flips in Febuary or March. It will be in the Emporium. I am part of VMK staff.

Am I the only one here who doubts that there's any truth in this statement?

I was in a room with Babs when they asked this (can't remember is she is a host or VMK or whatever) but she said they are looking at them.

I also heard VMK Phinny oh Host Phinny say that VMK didn't like that people were wearing something that I host had.

I always thought that it sooner or later VMK is either going to rerelease them or change the host costume.

Nothing is safe, they rereleased the space suit which to me was still the most sought after item I have worn. Then all the costumes again. They released some beta. I saw a post with codes of new items that had the blue rocking chair on it. I immediately traded all I had except one. Any time you trade a lot for something you run the risk of it being worth just the credits it costs after it is rereleased.

And so true about re releases! You never know what may become rare or what will come back out. I have a feeling one day green flips will come out. Might be many months. VMK likes to mess with us. The REAL question is If they rerelease it will any one buy it? Cuz that would mean they are no longer rare! I know there are a few people that want green flips because they actually LIKE them or the color. Most others want the fame.

Not unlikely at all if you are basing it on them been taken away once...they have released alot of things like the yellow dress and the red press etc.

Unlikely yes because they are staff clothing.

Totally agree with taking most players with a grain of salt and even with the ones who you can trust their word the VMK developers change their mind like the weather!

Didn't realize that. I'm not much of a VMKer so I didn't think that items could be brought back after being taken away. If that's the case, then that could make my theory as bogus as scientology...

But then again, like you said, they are a part of the staff apparel so the chance of them being released again is still highly unlikely.

If VMK really is so bothered by other players wearing a piece of their costume wouldn't it just make sense for the staff and hosts to have a costume consisting of things that were never released (in Beta or otherwise) and never intend to be? *shrugs* Maybe a color they haven't even used yet...
