Quick FP+ question...using original three and then making more in park

I can't quite remember on this one. If I reserve three morning FP+...do we have to actually ride each one or does the time frame just have to expire in order for us to make additional FP+ reservations?

I believe all 3 must expire (or be used) and then you can make your fourth.

Robo, I booked two second tier FP+ that I'm not really interested in doing and one tier 1 pass that I'm wanting to do. I actually don't think we'll show up at the park until time to ride the last tier one attraction. We probably won't arrive early enough to use my tier two attraction FP+. If we arrive and just use the last of the three reserved FP+ ....at the end of that last attraction may I then try booking another tier 1 attraction FP+...even if we never used the first two FP+s that expired?

Belle, you can book 3 Tier 2s. You do not have to book a Tier 1 - it's a new FP system.

If you have missed a FP window, you can Modify or Cancel the FP and choose another Tier 2. Even if you Cancel 2, you can rebook those 2 FPs.

The new system automatically gives you your allotment of 3 to use whether you prebooked them or book them while in the park.

I want to use a tier one in the morning (and ignore my tier two FP+s) and after they've all expired I want to be able to book another tier one. Is that possible? I do NOT want to book any tier twos. I am only booking them in the hopes that when they expire (as well as my tier one) I can then book another tier ONE! Thanks!

Belle, check the FP FAQ Addendum thread at the top of the forum - there are tips for booking a 2nd Tier 1.

Thanks for pointing me to that addendum! It does sound like I should be able to do it!
